La.Pi.S. organises The 1 st Smart cities, towns, rural and mountain villages International Congress” to celebrate its 10 th anniversary since its establishment.
The event will be held in presence, in Turin – Italy, on 21 November 2024, within the RESTRCTURA 2024 edition – Oval Pavilion – Lingotto Exibition Center.
The theme of the Congress is: Smart strategies to mitigate causes and effects of climate change and reduce the environmental footprint.
With this Congress, La.Pi.S. intends to present contributions about case studies, best practices, projects, scientific research, innovative proposals focused on new building, urban, territorial and landscape design approaches to tackle climate change in smart cities, towns, rural and mountain villages according to the innovative AI and IoT applications.
The event represents an opportunity to exchange scientific and technical international knowledge and experiences among experts, a melting point of contributions aimed at providing innovative answers to mitigate causes and effects of climate change through a smart approach.
The Congress program, detailed on the flyer downloaded from this website, is divided into two sessions.
The morning session is dedicated to the presentation of papers by Experts representing some Scientific Partners.
The afternoon session is focused on five paper presentations selected by the International Scientific Committee following the call for abstracts launched on 14 October 2023 and completed with the Committee's judgement issued on 30 June 2024.
According to the Congress Participation Rules, the International Scientific Committee has also indicated the papers to be submitted to the publisher Elsevier for publication in one of its scientific journals. The titles of these articles, the names of their Authors and co-Authors will be announced during the Congress works.
